In 2008, when Hurricanes devastated Haiti and the Philippines, we felt compelled to help. We began sending money through yahoo and supplies from Duluth, MN, but when we sought updates on delivery we received no answers. To this day, we have still not heard back. This motivated us to take action to make sure that our supplies reaches its destination without getting stuck in bureaucratic delays by having boots on the ground.
